CLUTCHGEARSHIFT LINKAGE Remove the lock washer, plain washer and clutch center
Remove the thrust washer, clutch outer and clutch outer guide
INSPECTION
LIFTER BEARING
Turn the inner race of the lifter bearing with your fingerThe bearing should turn smoothly and quietlyAlso check that the outer race of the bearing fits tightly in the pressure plateReplace the bearing if the inner race does not turn smoothly, quietly, or if the outer race fits loosely in the pressure plateDrive the bearing out of the pressure plateDrive new bearing into the plate with its mark side facing up
