SPROCKET INSPECTION
Inspect the drive and driven sprocket teeth for damage or wearReplace if necessaryNever use worn chain on new sprocketsBoth chain and sprockets must be in good condition, or the new replacement parts will wear rapidlyCheck the attachment bolt and nuts on the drive and driven sprocketsIf any are loose, torque them
DRIVE CHAIN SLIDER
Check the drive chain slider for wearReplace the chain slider if it is worn to the bottom of the wear limit grooveRefer to section 13 for drive chain slider replacement
BRAKE FLUID
CAUTION
Do not mix different types of fluid, as they are not
Do not allow foreign material to enter the system
when filling the reservoirAvoid spilling fluid on painted, plastic or rubber partsPlace rag over these parts whenever the system is serviced
