HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKE
REAR BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT
Awaysrepace the brake pads in pairs to ensure even discpressure
Straighten the lock plate tabs and loosen the pad pi nsRemovethe mounting bolts and rear brake caliper
Push the caliper piston all the way in to allow installation of new brake padsNOTE: Check the brake fluid level in the brake reservoir as this operation causes the levelto risePull the pad pins out of the caliper body with the lock plate while pushing in the pads against the pad springRemovethe brake pads
Make sure that the pad spring is in position as shownInstall new brake pads into the caliper body with the shim facing toward the pistonI nstall the pad pins with new lock plate by pushing in the pads against the pad spring to align the pad pin holes inthe pads and caliper body
