REAR WHEELSUSPENSION
SWINGARM
REMOVAL
Removethe rear axle (page 13-3)Support the swingarm and remove the following:screw and brake hose clampbolt and brake hosellockcable clamp -shock absorber lower mounting nut and bolt -shock link-to-swingarm nut and bolt
-swingarm pivot nut and boltswingarm from the frame
- dustseal caps and outer dust sealsunder cover and chain slider if necessary
INSPECTION
Be careful not to lose the needle rollers of the bearingRemove the pivot collars and check the needle bearings, pivot collars and dust seals for wear or damage
