FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING Slide the boot off the throttle cable adjuster Loosen the cable adjusterBend down the lock washer tab and remove the pivot nut, lock washer, throttle arm and return spring, then the throttle leverwith the plastic washerDisconnect the throttle cable from the throttle armRemovethe dust seal from the housing bottom
ASSEMBLY
Apply grease to the throttle lever pivot in the housingCoat new dust seallipwith grease and install it into the housing until it is fully seatedConnect the cableto the throttle armInsert the throttle lever with the washer into the housing and install the throttle arm with the spring over the throttle lever pivot by aligning the flat surfacesInstall new lock washer and the pivot nutTighten the pivot nut and bend up the washer tab againstthe nutInstallthe housing cover with new gasket and tighten the three screwsTORQUE: Nm 10.4 kgfm, 2.9 Ibf.ft) Adjust the throttle lever free play (page3-4)-
