GENERAL
The clutch and gearshift linkage can be serviced with the engine installed in the frameEngine oil viscosity and level and the use of oil additives have an effect on clutch operationOil additives of any kind are specifically not recommendedWhen the clutch does not disengage or the motorcycle creeps with the clutch disengaged, inspectthe engine oil and oil level before servicing the clutch systemThe crankcase must be separated when the transmission, shift drum and shift forks require service (section 11)
