ENGINE REMOVALINSTALLATION
ENGINE REMOVAL
Drain the engine oil (page 3-91 Removethe following:fuel tank and heat protector (page2-4)carbu retor assembly (page 5-3) -exhaustsystem (page2-6)Loosen the rear axle for maximum drive chain slack (page 3-13)Remove the two bolts, sprocket cover, sprocket protector and clampRemovethe fixing plate boltsRemovethe fixing plate by aligning the splines of the plate and countershaftPull the drive sprocket off the countershaft and remove the sprocketfrom the chainRemovethe pinch bolt and the gearshift pedalRelease the neutral switch wire from the clamp and disconnect the connector
