BRAKE LOCKCABLEADJUSTMENT
A lock cable adjustment may be required if the parking brake does not hold the rear wheels securely
,ADJUSTING BOLT
Slide the dust cover off the lever bracketTo adjust the clutch lever free play to more than 30 mm (1-1 8 in), loosen the lock nut at the clutch lever and turn the adjuster all the way inLoosen the lock nut at the brake arm on the caliper and turn the adjusting bolt clockwise until bolt resistance is feltThen turn the adjusting bolt 18 turn counterclockwise and tighten the lock nut while holding the adjusting bolt
TORQUE 18 Nm (1.8 kgfm, 131bf.ftl
Squeeze the clutch lever while pushing the brake lock pin down until firm resistance is felt and measurethe brake lock cable free play at the end of the clutch leverCLUTCH LEVER
