ENGINE OIL STRAINER SCREEN IN OIL TANK
Engine and exhaust system parts become very hot and remain hotfor some time after the engine is runWear insulatedglovesDrainthe engine oil (page 3-1 0)Disconnect the oil pipe from the lower side of the oil tank by loosening the flare nutRemovethe oil strainer screenWash the strainer screen thoroughly in high flash point solvent until all accumulated dirt has been removedBlow the screen dry with compressed air, or leave it in well ventilated place untilthe solvent has evaporatedBefore installing the strainer screen, it should be examined closely for damage-

Coat new O-ring with engine oil and install it onto the oil strainer screenInstall the strainer screen and tighten itTORQUE: 54 Nm (5.5 kgfm, 40 Ibfftl Connect the oil pipe over the strainer by screwing the flare nutTighten the flare nutTORQUE: 20 Nm (2.0kgfm, 14Ibfft) Fill the engine and oil tank with the engine oil (page
