IGNITION SWITCH
INSPECTION
Remove the front fender (page 2-6)Disconnect the ignition switch wire connectorCheck for continuity between the wire terminals of the ignition switch connector in each switch positionContinuity should exist between the color coded wires as follows:

BAT2 ON OFF WIRE COLOR RIB DC BAT1 BAT
HANDLEBAR SWITCHES
NOTE: The ha nd lebar switches (l ighting, dimmer, engine stop, starter shift (TRX450ES only-switches) must be replaced as an assemb ly For TRX450ES sh ift switch inspection see page 21-30Remove the front tender (page 2-6) Disconnect the handlebar switch connectorTRX450SFM shown: HANDLEBAR SWITCH
