BATTERY ICHARGING SYSTEM For accurate test results, be sure the tester's cables and clamps are in good working condition and that secure connection can be made at the battery
Set the temperature switch to "HIGH" or "LOW" depending on the ambient temperatureU
HIGH: 15 (60 OF) or higher LOW:(60 of) or lower
For the first check, Do NO charge the battery before testing; test it in an "as is" condition
Push in the appropriate test button for seconds and read the condition of the battery on the meterTo avoid damaging the tester, only test batteries ith an amperage rating of less th an 30 Ah Tester damage can resu lt from overheating when:The test button is pushed for more than seconds- The tester is used without being allowed to coo for at least minute when testing more than one battery- Mo re than ten consecutive ests are performed without allowing at least 3D-minute cool-down periodThe result of test on the meter scale is re lative to the amp hour rating of the battery ANY BATIERY READING IN THE GREEN ZONE IS OKBatteries should only be charged if hey register in the YELLOW or RED zone
