Install the face cam into the differential housingInstall the six cam followers (rib) and six followers (flat) into the specified grooves in the housing by two and two as shown

Install the face cam onto the cam followersMeasure the depth of the differential cap and the height of the housing-to-cam, and record them (page 15-26)Calculate the shim thickness using the equation belowThe correct shim is nearly this dimensionA=B-C-l.7mm
A: New shim thickness B: Recorded cap depth C: Recorded cam height
Select the shim and install it onto the face camDifferential shims: L: 1.3 mm (O.OS in) M: 1.4 mm (0.06 in) N: 1.5 mm 1O.06 in} A: 1.6 mm {O.OS in}
