FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM After '01The 6mmboll will lock the differential so it can be inspected
Install and tighten the mm bolt on the drive pinion
6 mm BOLT
After '01 :
Turn the mm bolt on the drive pinion and check that the gear urns smoothly and quiet ly ithout bindingInspect the fo llow ing if the drive pinion does not turn smoothly and quietly- Differentia caseRing gear bearingsDrive pinionRing gear Proceed with the detailed inspection procedures that low and replace fau lty parts assemblies as requiredRemove the mm bo lt
BACKLASH INSPECTION ('98'01 )
