Refer to page 11-1 for the pa rts wh ich must be removed before separating the crankcaseRemove the engine hanger bushing dust seals and drive out the hanger bushingsRemove the three front crankcase boltsRemove the final drive shaft a-ring
Loosen the twelve rear crankcase bolts in crisscross pattern in or steps to prevent crankcase distortionRemove the rear crankcase bolts
