LUBRICATION SYSTEM INSTALLATION Verify the cam chain slipper is installedInstall the oil pump assembly aligning the pump drive shaft boss with the groove in the balancer shaftAlso align the side plate tab with the cam chain slipper groove
Install and tighten the oil pump mounting boltsRecheck the oil pump by turning the pump shaft right and leftInstall the centrifugal clutch (page 8-10)Install the front crankcase cover (page 8-18)
