MAINTENANCE Install the oil filter spring to the rear crankcase coverInstall new oil filter with its "OUT-SIDE (TOWARDS FILTER COVER)" mark facing outCAUTION:
Installing the oil filter backwards will result in severe engine damage
Make sure that the a-rings are in good condition and replace if necessaryApply oil to the O-ringsInstall the oil filter cover and tighten the bolts to the specified torqueTORQUE: 10 Nm 11.0 kgfm, 7Ibf.ft)
Check that the sealing washer on the drain bolt is in good condition, replace if necessaryInstall and tighten the drain boltTORQUE: 25 Nm (2.5 kgf.m, 18Ibfft)
