generator connector, Disconnect the ign it ion pu lse generator connector and connect the tester probes to the terminal (Bluel YeJtow and Ground)In the sa me ma nne as at the ICM con ne,c tor, measure the peak vo ltage and compare it to the voltage measured at tile leM connect Oor If the peak voltage measu ed at th leM is abnQr ma and the one measuredtt1e ignition pu lse generator is norma lthe wire harness has an open circuit or loose connection+ If both peak voltages measured arebnorma la check each item in the troubl eshooting chart on page If all Items are normal, the ignitIon pulse genelrator is faultySee page for igniti on pulse generator replacement
