BRAKE SYSTEM Install the boot
Place the master cylinder on the handlebarInstall the master cylinder holder with theUP" mark facing upTighten the upper bolt firstthen tighten the lower bolt looselyTORQUE: 12 Nm (1 .2 kgf.m9Ibfft) Align the end of the master cylinder with the punch mark on the handlebarTighten the lower boltTORQUE: 12 Nm (1.2 kgf.m9Ibfft) Install the brake hose between the stoppers with the bolt and new sealing washersTORQUE: 34 Nm (3.5 kgfm 25Ibfft) Install the brake leverInstall and tighten the pivot boltTORQUE: Nm (0.6 kgf.m 4.3I bfft) Hold the pivot bolt and tighten the nutTORQUE: Nm (0.6 kgf.m 4.3 Ibfft) Fill the reservoir to the upper level and bleed the brake system (page 14-3)
