FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING Allow the repair dryDrying time will vary with air temperatureRefer to the tire repair kit manufacturer's recommendationsInflate the tire and est the seal by dabbing small amount of cement around the plugEscaping air will cause bubble in the cementIf there is leakage, remo ve the tire (page 12-9) and apply cold patch to the inside of the tire as describedIf plug has been inserted, trim it even with the in-
nertire surfaceTemporarily place rubber patch that is at least
twice the size of the puncture over the injuryMake mark around the patch, slightly la rger than the
patch itselfRoughen the area marked inside the tire wi th ti re buffer or wire brushClean the ubber dust from the buffed areaApply cement ove the area marked and allow it to dryRemove the lining from he patch and center it ove the injuryPress the patch against the injury usi ng special rollerNOTE :
