CRANKSHAFT ITRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION NOTE:
Apply oil to the shifter gear grooves10 Always install the thrust washers and snap rings with the chamfered (rolled) edge facing away from the thrust loadAfter installing the snap ring, slightly open the ring and rotate it in its groove to be sure it is fully seatedDo not use worn snap ring which could easily spinning in Ihe grooveThey may be too loose 10 properly seat in Ihe groove Align the gap in the snap ring with the groove of spline Align the oil holes on the shafts and bushings The countershaft must be installed with the inside oil feed hole to the back, and the outside oil holes to the front as shown
