Remove the side cover (page 2-3)Remove the fuel tank breather tube from the handlebar cover
RETAINING CLIPS

Remove the fuel tank cap by turning it counterclock-
wiseRemove the four retaining clipsBe careful not to damage the tabs
Release the six tabs from the front fender, then remove the fuel tank cover by sliding rearward and pulling up
