IGNITION SYSTEM If the peak voltage measu red at ICM connector is abnormalmeasure the peak voltage at the pulse generator connectorDisconnect the ignition pulse generator connector and connect the tester probes to the termina (Blue Yellow and Ground) In the same manner as at the ICM connector, measure the peak voltage and com pare it to the voltage measured at the ICM connector If the peak voltage measured at the ICM is abnormal and the one measured at the ig nition pulse generator is normal, the ire harness has an open circuit or loose connection If both peak voltages measure are abnormalcheck each item in the troub leshooting cha rt on page 17-3If all items are normal, the ignition pulse generator' is fau lty See section 10 for ignition pu lse generator replacementIGNITION PULSE GENERATOR CONNECTOR
