BRAKE FLUID REPLACEMENT IAIR BLEEDING
BRAKE FLUID DRAINING
CAUTION :
Do not allow foreign material to enter the system when filling the reservoir Avoid spilling fluid on painted, plastic, or rubber partsPlace rag over these parts whenever the system is serviced
With the fluid reservoi parallel to the ground, remove the reservoir cover and diaphragmConnect bleed hose to the bleed valve Loosen the bleed valve and pump the brake leverStop pumping the lever when no more fluid flows out of the bleed valve
BRAKE FLUID FILLING
Fill the reservoir with DOT or brake flu id from sealed containerCAUTION :
Do not mix different types of fluidThey are not compatible
Connect commerC ially available brake bleeder to the bleed valve Pump the brake bleeder and loosen the bleed valve, adding fluid when th fluid leve in th master cy lind er reservoir is lowNOTE :
