FUEL SYSTEM NOTE :
The pilot screw is factory pre-setAdjustment is not necessary unless the carburetors are overhauled or new pilot screws are installed Then engine must be warm for accurate adjustmentTen minutes of stop-and-go riding is sufficient Use tachome ter with graduations of 50 rpm or smaller that will accurately ind icate 50 rpm change
1Turn the pilot screw clockwise until it seats li ghtly, then back it out to th specification given
CAUTION :
Damage to the pilot screw seat will occur if the pilot screw is tightened against the seat
