r MAINTENANCE
Remove the elem ent holder by turn ing it counterclockwise Remove the element band and separate the element from the element core DUST COVER (CALIFORNIA TYPE ONLY) HOLDER
ELEMENT CORE
Cali fornia type only
Dust Cover If the dust cover is dirty, clean it by compressed air
NOTEDo not shove the dust coverBAND
Wash the element in non-flammable or high flash point solventSqueeze out the solvent thoroughly, and allow the element to dry
SQUEEZE OUT
Apply approxi mately 3237 cc ('.11.3 oz) of Pro Honda Foam Filter Oil or an equivalent oil rom the inside of the element Place the element into plasti bag and spread the oil evenly by hand
