Remove the seat(page 2-31Check the fuel line, Replace it if it shows signs of deterioration, dam age or leaking,
THROTTLE OPERATION
Check for smooth throttle lever operation with complete opening and automatic closing in all steeri ng positions, Make su re the re is no deterioration, damage kinking in the throttle cableRep lace any damaged pa rt s, Disconnect the throttle cable at the upper end (page 12-6), Thoroughly lubricate th cab le and pivot point with commercia lly avai lable cable lubricantInsta ll the throttle cable in the reverse order of removalMake sure he throttl le ver free play is mm (1516 in) at the tip of the th rottle leverThrott le lever free play can be adjusted at thrott le hous ng adjusterSlide the rubber boot off the cab le adjuster
