Ignition System If the resistance is out of specification, check the following:Ignition pulse generator connector for loose contact or corroded terminalWire harness for short or open circuitReplace the ignition pulse generator if necessaryRemoval Remove the left crankcase cover (page 9-2)Remove the connectorRemove the two socket bolts and ignition pulse generatorInstallation is in the reverse order of removal
