Ignition System Inspection
Ignition Control Module (lCM)
This model's ICM employs special DC-COl system that produces spark only when the engine is crankingNOTE'

Check the system components and lines step-by-step according to the troubleshooting chart on pages 15-3This method does not include an inspection of the ignition timing advance system at the ICM
Disconnect the ICM connectors and check them for loose contact or corroded terminalsMeasure the resist ance, continuity and voltage between the terminals of the wire harness side
