Walt until tha pipe has cooled bafore removing or InstaNing tha muffler lidTouching ha hot exhaust may resutt In severe burnsPerform this operation In well-ventilated area fraa trom combustible materialsCarbon particles may blowout of the clean out hole when performing this serviceWear safety glasses to prevent possible eye InJuries
(2) MUFFLER LID

Remove the muffler shop towel
Block tha end of the muffler with a

Start engine and rev it up to blow accumulated carbon deposits out of the muffler
Be sure that the muffler lid bolls and 98sket are in good conditionReplace the bolts and gasket if necessaryInsta.the muffler lid and gasket and tighten the bolts securelyNOTE :
