ELECTRIC STARTER
TROUBLESHOOTI NG
The starter motor can turn when the transmission is in neutral and engine stop switch is RUN position
Check the following items before troubleshooting the system- Burned fuse (15A)- Battery and starter motor cables for loose connection
- Battery dischargedStarter motor does not tum
1-1Check the starter relay switch operationYou should hear the relay "CLICK" when button is depressed
"CLlCK" HEARD
1-2Apply battery voltage to the starter motor
"CLICK" NOT HEARD

Poorly connected motor cable Faulty starter relay switch (page 8-7)
Faulty starter motor (page 18-3)
2Check the starter relay switch for continuity
