SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
Remove the following parts before separating the crankcase
Cylinder headcylinderpiston Recoil starteralternatorbalancer
Section Section 8
Starter motor
Section 18
Apply grease to the crankshaft oil seal lipsCheck the lips for wear or damage Apply two-stroke oil to the following before assembly:
- connecting rod big end bearingcrankshaft journal bearings Crankshaft servicing requires crankcase separation
