SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
The fuel tank must be removed (page 4-3) to service the recoil starter, alternator and balancer Refer to section 16 for pulse generator inspectionRefer to section 17 for alternator inspection

Balancer drive gear nut
Starter driven gear bolt
120 Nm(12.0 kg-m, 87 ft-Ib) Left hand thread Sta ke the nut 27 Nm(2.7 kg-m, 20 ft-Ib) Apply locking agent to the threads 85 Nm(8.5 kg-m, 61 ft-Ib) 12 Nm(1.2 kg-m, ft-Ib) Re-use of strictly prohibited 2.5 N'm (0.25 kg-m, 1.8 ft-Ib)
