Lubricate the small end bearing and piston pin with clean 2stroke oilInstall the connecting rod small end bearing, piston and piston pinNOTE Install the piston with the 'IN" mark facing the intake sideInstall the piston pin clipNOTE Use new pin clipsNever re-use old clipsDo not let the clips fall into the crankcase
Align each ring end gap with the stopper pins in the ring lands
Clean off any gasket material from the cylinder and crankcase surfacePlace new cylinder base gasket on the crankcase and install the dowel pinsBlow away any gasket material or debris from the cylinderpiston area with right brust of compressed airRemove the shop towel placed in the crankcase for protec-
