CYLINDERPISTON CYLINDER HEAD INSTALLATION
SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
All cylinder head, cylinder and piston maintenance and inspection can be accomplished with the engine installed in the frame Before disassembling the engine, clean the engine thoroughly so that dirt and dust will not fall into the cylinder and
crankcase
Remove all traces of gasket material from the mating surfaces of the cylinder head, cylinder and crankcase Before assembling, apply clean 2-stroke engine oil to all sliding surfaces_ The cylinder and piston of the same size code must be used togetherSelect the proper new piston andor cylinder' according to the chart on page 7-7 Optional oversize pistons and piston rings are availableRefer to page 1-14
