MECHANICAL SEAL INSPECTION
Inspect the telltale hole for signs of mechanical seal coolant leakageReplace the water pump mechanical seal if coolant is leaking
MECHANICAL SEAL REPLACEMENT
Drain the coolant (page 5-4)Remove the recoil starter (page 8-21Disconnect the radiator hose from the water pump coverRemove the water pump cover
Remove the dowel pins and gasket
