LIGHTSSWITCHES
IGN ITION SWITCH
Remove the front fender (page 16-1 )Open the connector box and disconnect the ignition switch wire connectors
Check for continuity between the wire terminals of the ignition switch connector in each switch positionContinuity should exsist between the color coded wires as follows: Color OFF ON BI PW P
HANDLEBAR SWITCHES
The handlebar switches (lighting, dimmer, engine stop, starter switches) must be replaced as an assembly Remove the ront fender (page 16-1) Open the connector box and disconnect the handlebar switch connectorsCheck for continuity between the wire terminals of the handlebar switch connectors Continuity should exist between the color coded wire terminals as follows :
