SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
This section covers servicing of the rear axle, rear drive shaft and rear final driveReplace all oil seals whenever the rear final drive is disassembledCheck the tooth contact pattern and gear backlash when the final drive bearing, gear set andor case are replacedWhen using the lock nut wrench, use deflecting beam type torque wrench 50 cm (20 inches) longThe lock nut wrench increases the torque wrench's leverage, so the torque wrench reading will be less than the torque actually applied to the lock nutThe specification given is the actual torque applied to the lock nut, not the reading on the torque wrench
