FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM (TRX300FW) Install the other clutch pack as describedInstall the front differential capTemporarily install the drive shaft to center the side gear, and differential capTighten the bolts to the specified torqueTORQUE: Torx bolt: 33 Nm (3.3 kg-m, 24 ft-Ibl mm bolt: 50 Nm (5.0 kg-m36 ft-Ibl NOTE Tighten the bolts in 2-3 steps in crisscross pattern(3) mm BOLT (2) TORX BOLT (1) FRONT CAP
DIFFERENTIAL CASE ASSEMBLY
NOTE When the bearing, gear set andor gear case has been replaced, check the tooth contact pattern (page 14-8) and gear backlash (page 14-7)
Install the ring gear spacers onto the differential assembly
(1) SPACERS
Apply liquid sealant to the mating surface of the gear case coverNOTE Keep dust and dirt out of the differential case
