FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM (TRX300FW) Carefully pry the cover off the case using screwdriver at the pry points as shown
Remove the differential assembly and the adjustment spacers from the differential case
(1) DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY
BEARING INSPECTION
Turn the inner race of each ring gear bearings with your fingerThe bearings should turn smoothly and quietlyAlso check that the outer race fit tightly in the case and coverRemove and discard the bearings if the races do not turn smoothly and quietlyor if they fit loosely in the case or cover For ring gear bearing replacementgo to page 14-1 5For drive pinion removal and disassemblygo to page 14-13
