FRONT DRIVING MECHANISM (TRX300FWI upper mounting bolt, nut and collar rear mounting bolt and nut
Push the front differential forward, then separate the propeller shaft from the front gear caseRemove the propeller shaft and front differential
INSPECTION
Check the propeller shaft for wear or damage
(1) PROPELLER SHAFT
Turn the differential drive pinion with your finger; if should turn smoothly and quietlyInspect the following if the drive pinion does not turn smoothly and quietly:differential casering gear bearingsdrive pinionring gear Proceed with the detailed inspection procedures that follow and replace faulty partsassemblies as required
