BRAKES Install the master cYlinder holder with the UP mark facing upTighten the upper screw first, then tighten the lower screw looselyTORQUE: 12 Nm (1.2 kg-m, ft-Ib) Align the end of the master cylinder with the punch mark on the handlebar Tighten the lower screwTORQUE: 12 Nm (1.2 kg-m, ft-Ib) Install the brake hose between the stoppers with the bolt and new sealing washersTORQUE:
(1) BOLTSEALING
(2) UP MARK
'88-'90: 30 Nm (3 .0 kg-m, 22 ft-Ib) After '90: 35 Nm (3.5 kg-m, 25 ft-Ib)
Fill the reservoir to the upper level and bleed the brake system according to page 12-4
