Remove the clutch outer guide from the mainshaft
INSPECTION
Clutch lifter bearing Turn the lifter bearing inner race with your fingerThe bearing should turn smoothly and freely without excessive playAlso check that the bearing outer race fits tightly in the clutch lifter plateReplace if necessary: Drive the bearing out of the clutch lifter plateDrive new bearing into the plate;
