GENERAL
The front and rear brake pads can be replaced without disconnecting the hydraulic systemOnce the hydraulic systems have been opened, or if the brakes feel spongy, the system must be bledDo not allow foreign material to enter the system when filling the reservoirBrake fluid will damage painted, plastic, and rubber partsWhenever handling brake fluid, protect the painted, plastic, and rubber parts by covering them with ragIf fluid does get on these parts, wipe it off with clean cloth Always check brake operation before riding the FOURTRAX When servicing the front brake, remove the front wheels (page 10-8) Brake dust may contain the asbestos
