FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING After '86: After '8S: Check the dust seals and collars for wear or damageTurn the spherical bearings with your fingerThe bearing should turn smoothly and quietlyAlso check that the bearing outer races fit tightly in the front armNOTE Replace the bearing if its axial free play is more than 1.0 (0.04 in)

Remove dust seals and stopper ringsPress out the old spherical bearing from the front armTOOL Spherical bearing driver

Mark the special tool on the specified pointas shown and press in the new spherical bearing to the marking pointInstall the stopper ringsApply grease to th bearing and dust seals, and install th dust seals
