FRONTWHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING
TIRE ASSEMBLY
After removing the tire from the rim, cut the valve off at the bottom, being careful not to damage the rim
Be sure to replace the valve with new one whenever the tire is removed from the rim
Install new valve intothe valve hole inthe rimClean the rim bead seat and flangesApply clean water to th ri flanges, bead seat and baseInstall the tire on the rim

Use only water as lubricant when mounting tiresSoap or some mounting lubricants may leave slippery residue which can cause the tire to shift on the rim and lose airpressure during ridingInstall the tire to seat the tire beadCAUTION

Do not inflate the tire with mare than 36 psi (2.5 kgcm2, 250 kPa)for thefront tire and 35 psi (2.4 kgcm 2, 240 kPa)for the rear tireIf the tire does not seat on the rim with 36 psi (2.5 kgcm250 of air prressure for the front tire and 35 psi (2.4 kg! cm240 kPa) of air pressure for the rear tire, release the air from the tire and apply water to the tire bead and bead seating surface of th rimInflate the tire with air again, or as is required to properly seat the tire beadDeflate the tireWait hour, install th valve core in th valve stem and inflate the tire to the specified pressureTIRE PRESSURE (STANDARD): Front: 4.0 psi (0.275kgcm27.5 kPa) Rear: '86, '87: 2.9 psi (0.2 kgfcm20 kPa) After '87: 3.3 psi (0.225 kgcm22.5 kPa) Check for air leaks and install the valve cap
