TRANSMISSIONCRANKSHAFT Measure the connecting rod big end side clearanceSERVICE LIMIT: 1.0 mm (0 .04 in)
Measure the connecting rod big end radial clearance, at two po ints in the direction indicated by the arrows
SERVICE LIMIT: .04 mm (0.002 in)
INSTALLATION
Place the left crankcase over the crankshaft Place the drives haft disassembly tool (B) over the end of the crankshaft Th{ead the assembly bolt onto the crankshaft and tighten the special left-hand thread nut portion of the assembly bolt against the driveshaft disassembly tool (B) (counterclack wise)Hold the center bolt stationary and continue to turn the lefthand nut counterclockwise until the crankcase seats over the crankshaftDo not over tightenTOOLS: Driveshaft disassembly tool (B) Assembly bolt
