CYLINDER HEADCYLINDERPISTON INSTALLATION Install new cylinder head gasket with the "UP" mark facing upNOTE
Be sure to install the cylinder head gasket in the correct directionIf it is reversed, coolant flow will be affected
Place the cylinder head on the cylinderInstall the six cylinder head nuts and tighten to the specified torque in criss-cross pattern in to stepsTORQUE: 24-29 Nm 12.4-2.9 kg -m, 1721 ft-Ib) Install the spark plug and spark plug cap
Install the engine hanger pipeTighten the engine mounting bolt and hanger pipe boltsTORQUE: ENGINE MOUNTING BOLT (10 mm bolt): 50-60 Nm (5.0-6.0 kg-m, 36-43 ft-Ib) ENGINE HANGER PIPE BOLT (8 mm bolt): 25-35 Nm (2.5-3 .5 kg-m, 18-25 ft-Ib) Connect the upper radiator hose to the cylinder headPour the recommended coolant mixture up to the correct level (page 9-3)
