ENGINE REMOVALINSTALLATION After '87: Note the direction of the mounting bolts
ENGINE INSTALLATION
Install the engine in th frame and tighten the engine mounting bo lts, hanger plate bolts and hanger pipe boltsTORQUE: ENGINE HANGER PLATE AND PIPE BOLT (8 mm bolt): 25-35 Nm (2.53.5 kg -m, 1825 ft-Ib) ENGINE MOUNTING BOLT (10 mm bolt): 5060 Nm (5.0-6.0 kg-m, 36-43 ft-Ib)
Install the drive sprocket"install the wash er with the "OUTSIDE" mark facing outInstall the sprocket bolt and tighten it TORQUE: 3034 Nm (3 .03.4 kg-m2224 ft-Ib) Install the lower drive chain sliderInstall the drive sprocket coverInstall the gearshift pedal and tighten the boltTORQUE: 10-14 Nm (1.0-1.4 kg-m,10 ft-Ib) Install the kick starter pedal and tighten the pinch boltTORQUE: 2035 N'm (2.03.5 kg-m14-25 ft -Ib) Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removalRoute the cables and wired properly (page 1-9)Adjust the clutch lever free play (page 2-14) and drive chain (page 2-9 Fill the cooling system with the recomwended coolant mixture (page 9-1)
