FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL TANK
Remove the seatlrear fender and front fender (section 14)Turn the fuel valve "OFF" and disconnect the fuel line at the carbureto rRemove the fue valve mounting bo lt, then remove the fue valve from the frameRemove the fuel tank attaching bolts, then remove the fue tank
(1) FUEL VALVE
Keep gasoline away from flames or sparksWipe up spilled gasoline at onceWork in well ventirated areaDo not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the work areaUse drain pan and check that fuel flows freely out of the uel line by turning the fuel valve "ON If flow is restricted, check and clean the following: Remove the fuel strainer mounting bolts, then remove the fuel strainer from the fuel tankClean the fuel strainer Install the fue strainer in the reverse order of removal
