MAINTENANCE Align the toe-in gauge with the marks on the tires as shownCheck the readings on the gauge's scalesSlowly move the vehicle back until the wheels have turned 180 so the marks on the tires are aligned with the gauge height on the rear side(1) MARKS
(2) TOE-IN GAUGE Commercially available in U.S .A
Measure the toe-in on the rear part of the tires at the same pointsTOE-IN: 10 10 mm (0.4 0.4 in)
When the toe-in is out of specification, adjust it by loosening the tie-rod lock nuts and turning the tie-rod equally while measuring the toe-in Tighten the lock nut to the specified torqueTORQUE: 50-SO Nm (5.0-S.0 kg-m, 3S-43 ft-Ibl
